Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English artist and songwriter, who goes by the stage name Jessie J. Jessie's unconventional style of music which blends soul along with electropop, pop, and hip-hop has earned her not just fame but also recognition from a young age. Her awards include the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well numerous nominations. She started her career at just 11when she got part of the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. As of 2002, she was cast for the "National Youth Music Theatre" performance of "The late sleepers." It was 2011 with her first studio album 'Who You Are,' which came out on February 28.
