Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible partner JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our family. Most people know me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I post my daily life: the good, the bad and all between. I moved to America with my parents and brother in the year 1990. At 1 1/2 years old. young. I'm not living my life and sharing it with you if it weren't since my parents were devoted to dedication and hard work. My parents were my inspiration and helped me to become successful. I had a set plan for my life: university and get a corporate job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. I figured that was the epitome of success however, life has other plans to teach me what it meant to be successful. The money and the status of my job didn't make me feel happy. I was convinced that I had wasted my time for a paycheck. When I started to take steps toward a new direction in my life, I realized that I was a personal trainer and my passion. I am a lover of exercise and enjoy working around people and helping them. This year I will celebrate my 7th anniversary. In 2014, I launched my own small business. It is rare to find an Asian woman in this business. My aim in the industry is to help create a sustainable and healthier lifestyle that can meet the demands of my clients. In addition, I wish for everyone to be able to follow their dreams and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for throughout their lives. My career was beginning to flourish, I experienced the most devastating loss of my life: my mother's death. Following an 8-year battle for a condition called Scleroderma, she's now resting in Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and continue to remember her in my mind as well as my heart. Even if you can't see it initially, the universe is a way of giving us what we really require. My mother's death changed me so much and I believe she gave me a second chance in life. The day she died on Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin a new life. For me, it was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. Now into my 30's I feel alive and aware of the fact like I'm living my life today instead of merely surviving as the person I was back in my previous. In sharing my story I hope that my thoughts will resonate with you. It is my wish that my words can aid you in understanding that you're not alone. That you have the ability to achieve everything you desire. I pray that you will live the life you want to live and have your final resting place is not a regret, as that's the only thing that we have to be confident about in this life.
